Guangzhou City
Guangzhou is the capital of the province of Guangdong, it's 4 times larger than London and over 7 Million people live there. Guangzhou is well known in British history as the city, Canton and was regularly involved in wars for its rich opium resource mainly from the British! Guangzhou is a major distributor of manufactured goods all over the world and as a result is home to massive wholesale shopping outlets. You'll find entire complexes, 10 storeys high, thousands of shops per storey selling clothes or bags. You'll also find some of the largest retail shopping centres in the world including the famous Beijing Street where is hard not to shop til you drop!
If you like to hit the nightlife, you'll quickly come across Bar Street. A street along the Pearl River which contains a large number of bars and some small dance floors for those who like to dance. You will pay no more than £1.50 for a Beer so it's a good idea to drink here and then hit the big clubs. The big clubs are a short taxi ride away and include, Baby Face, New Era and HeHe, to name just a few. Guangzhou is full of literally hundreds of clubs so you just have to come and check them all out!
Foshan is also home to a permenant indoor ice rink, You'll soon fall in love with Foshan's calm and non-citylike personality. The people are exceptionally friendly and there's a large number of parks and gardens for you to enjoy.
Foshan City
Foshan city neighbors Guangzhou and as of this year is included on the Guangzhou metro line. Besides this convenience Foshan is a city rich in culture; You'll find motorbike taxis in their large numbers and motorbike tricycles ready to take you anywhere. Foshan is home to a nightly market in the centre of the city, where you'll find plenty of things to buy. There is a giant commercial shopping centre where you'll be spoilt for choice with well priced clothes.Foshan is also home to a permenant indoor ice rink, You'll soon fall in love with Foshan's calm and non-citylike personality. Zhuhai City
Zhuhai is regarded as a garden city in China, You'll find mountainous landscapes, beautiful parks and gardens all over the city. At the same time, Zhuhai borders the Special Economic Zone of Macau. Macau is regarded as the Las Vegas of Asia thanks to a large number of super casinos on the small island. From Zhuhai you're also in reach of some very beautiful and tranquil little beaches off several islands to the South.
With Hong Kong just 45 minutes away, beaches around the corner and the largest casino city in Asia just across the river, Zhuhai couldn't be better situated. You'll love the surroundings, although, being a Chinese city it's not as green as you'll expect, it is, however surrounded by beautiful mountains and you'll have an endless supply of tranquil gardens and parks to explore.
